Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of Routergate's network, infrastructure, and services. You must comply with this AUP and all applicable laws.
1. Prohibited Activities
1.1 Abuse, attacks, and security violations
- DDoS attacks, brute force attempts, credential stuffing, or any disruptive activity
- Port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or probing without explicit written authorization
- Malware distribution, botnets, command-and-control, phishing, or similar activity
- Unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or networks
1.2 Spam and unsolicited messaging
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam)
- Email address harvesting, list purchasing for spam, or operating open relays/proxies for abuse
1.3 Illegal content and prohibited material
- Content that violates applicable law (including fraud, scams, or facilitating illegal activity)
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — immediate termination and reporting where required
- Copyright or trademark infringement (including unauthorized distribution)
1.4 Resource abuse
- Activities that cause excessive load or interfere with network stability
- Using the Services to bypass rate limits, blocks, or security controls of third parties unlawfully
2. VPN and Network Services Notes
If you use VPN features, you remain responsible for all traffic and actions associated with your VPN access. VPN use does not permit or excuse prohibited activities described in this AUP.
3. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations. Depending on severity, we may take actions including warnings, traffic filtering, rate limiting, null-routing, suspension, termination, and/or removal of content. We may cooperate with law enforcement when required.
4. Reporting Abuse
To report abuse, email [email protected] and include relevant details (source/destination IPs, timestamps, logs, and a description of the issue).
